The Psychology Behind Money and Motivation

I was on a field trip and had the opportunity to meet some awesome people who worked in Back of America. Thanks to Mr. Purcell, the man who created a presentation discussing budgeting and general finances, I had the opportunity to dive deeper into the importance of understanding Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs.

What sparked me to get up and present in front of a crowd of people?

Mr. Purcell was presenting, and he skipped over the slide with Maslow's theory, briefly mentioning it. I took the initiative to raise my hand and ask if I could speak more on this subject. I knew I understood the theory quite well and wanted to share with my peers how it can help you financially, connecting his presentation about financial literacy with psychology. Public speaking has always been a passion of mine, and I love openly sharing with others because it can benefit them.

How Passion Fuels Meaningful Change

I had the chance to attend the IAM STEAM Fair and met and connected with many great business and nonprofit owners. When they opened up the floor for any questions or add-ons, that's when I took my chance.
